OUR MISSION

“As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live.” —St. John Paul the Great. The mission of St. Isidore Academy is to support the family, the essential human community, and the building block of the Church and of society, by assisting parents in their efforts to form and educate their children.  We strive to fulfill this mission by offering practical support to parents as the primary educators of their children that will enable them to provide a rigorous, classical education within the Catholic tradition. We provide curriculum, instruction, consistent structure and accountability, record keeping and transcripts, and the support and encouragement of a like-minded community. It is our hope that this effort will enable families to fulfill their mission to raise and educate their children in the faith while preserving the unity and strength of their families.

A PRIVATE AND INDEPENDENT ACADEMY

St. Isidore Academy is a private and independent academy, which provides a Collaborative, Classical Education in the Catholic tradition but is not officially affiliated with any church or other religious organization including the Roman Catholic Diocese of Dallas. Therefore St. Isidore Academy does not offer Sacramental preparation for its students, who must be initiated into the Sacraments through a local parish. Moreover, in full accordance with Canon Law 803.3, St. Isidore Academy does not bear the title of “Catholic School,” nor does it represent itself as a “Catholic School,” and affirmatively disclaims any assertions to the contrary.
